I am trying to update a Eurovox max V, I have downloaded and installed the updater as instructed, and have had no problems updating 2 other boxes, when i try to update the last box i get an error message saying "download is failed", It is a genuine box as far as i know. I think I read someone else had this fault but can not find the post despite searching. Many thanks

Everytime I hjave ever flashed my box it has always said download failed, if you leave it for a few seconds it should change to download succeeded.

Thanks for reply, have just re-flashed box and it does indeed change to "download is successful" but when i connect to my tv it does not update where the other two boxes have updated.

Have you tried resetting to factory settings before flashing it? Newer firmware shouldn't need it but it may make it easier to take.

Tried factory reset, same problem. Re-downloaded software ran it and it worked first time, though I still get the download failed message. Thanks for your help

Can anyone tell me how i can transfer the new firmware onto my eurovox. I have a eurovox maxV 2007 (black box). I have the cable (rs232) and i have downloaded the firmware. I don't quite know what to do next. Anyone

Did this to me last night too - scared the p*ss out of me!

Noticed the box had switched off. I switched it back on and the message changed to 'Download Succeeded'

re flashed euro vox v box. loading transponders ok getting please wait, code being updated this has been going on for 3days anybody help.

What firmware have you reflashed it with? If you did it three days ago then it wasn't the newest version. You want the Kuro v3.
