@darkcard
A dead pixel is a pixel that never displays color. A screen like one one the PSP has many pixels. These will light up and change color as you play a game or watch a movie. However because of problems inside the screen (usually a malfuntioning transistor) the pixel just won't display anything. It appears as black all the time (or dead). So when you play you will see everything normally expect for these dark squares which are the dead pixels. Skinny
