Hi,
wonder if someone could help me please. Ive manage to the latest firmware but im having problems scanning/finding the right codes. The instructions i have are totally useless. Ive had a look at the install menus and they seem to have changed. Now the last time i did this using the old firmware the powerscan picked up sod all i had to scan in normal mode, but for the life of me i cant seem to find where to scan in normal mode on the new firmware! This is really doing my head in can anyone offer any assistance please?

Just finished doing a full power scan and im not picking up any tp's

Looks like you can't do a normal scan anymore. Have you got the right symbol rate set up as this will stop any transponders showing up.

from what i can work out i need to do a normal scan, but im find this impossible as im not being given the option to change it from powerscan to normal scan, ive already done a power scan and picked up bugger all?

main menu>installation>

fast install or user installation? which one

I don't think you can do a normal scan with the new firmware mate, sorry.

so in other words the box is completely useless to me now? it dont pick up any tp's what so ever?

Fast install then select the symbol rate for your area.

Yes, I definately think it is a symbol rate issue.

im having the same poblem i have just done a full power scan as i couldnt change it to normal either,i selected the same symbol rate(6952) as i used to use before i upgraded the firmware but i find no chanels at all please help
