The rs232 9pin to usb is the adapter you would need as well as your NULL MODEM cable but be careful as they don't work for everyone. Have you a m8 or family member with a pc that has the port you need? Or even an updated EV? as you can copy from one box to another directly using the NULL MODEM cable.

You've been away a few weeks!

Read this for the quick fix Ronsters Quick fix for updating keys and the bigMAQ toolbar is now called 'TheChatterbox.cc' toolbar, you'll need to google and instal it.

Hi Guys, I'm new here, just a quick question about my eurovox black box.

I can't get the new download codes from thechatterbox tool bar. All i'm getting on my TV screen is the 8% signal. My friend has managed the new download fine. I've tried the box to box from my mate's eurovox, after carefully following the instructions on this thread, but without success.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

If you are suffering the 8% signal prob then you will need to flash the box with the firmware dated 28/4/08 and this will sort you out.
