it seems that most people have installed the new firmware from bigmaq ( with varying results) I have the eurovox max v and live in Dublin, anyone who used the firmware , feel free to pm me and let me know if everthing went well, I haven't done the update yet..any hints and tips?

Did the upgrade on Sat. Sun went to the pub to watch the UTD/Arsenal match, switched it on when I got home. Code updating lasted no more than 5 mins while it figured out the new keys and then it's been happy viewing ever after.

Make sure you upload your channel data onto your pc first and then after upgrading restore the file back to your box.

i havent put any new firmwear on my box as dont now how but havent had to update codes since friday..anyone no y?

hi guy's and gal's tried to update a m8's euro over the phone when i told him to press menu and yellow to go into the key's he wasn't getting anything anybody else got a solution cheers

Tell him to press Menu/Language Settings and then key in 19681968 on his remote. The full provider list will display. All he needs do now is arrow <> across till he finds his provider, highlight the first line and press OK, go down to Key Data field and enter the first key (using instructions at bottom of screen) save and repeat for second line.
