I am not really good at this sort of thing - what do you mean by "firmware" sorry if I am being a dumb blonde female. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Firmware is the software that is on the box that unscrambles the signal.
To avoid manually inputting the keys you will need to upgrade your box by following the instructions here Ronsters Guide To Flashing Box For Newbies Google the bigMAQ toolbar and under the Updates/Fixes icon you'll find the update for your box |

Thanks for your kind reply - unfortunately I do not have access to a computer at home - my son has one and also has a eurovox so maybe once he has mastered the art of updating I can talk him round to doing mine. Again thanks. Its all foreign to me.

If his box is the same as yours then you can always try this Copy 1 box to another

I presume your son needs to update his box as well, ask him to do yours after. The only difference in updating the two different versions is simply two different versions of software.

Fraid not michele13, the codes may change at any time as they have always done in the past, it really is up to you whether you want to continue inputting manually or fix for once and for all by updating.
Incidentally, what about asking the guy you bought the box from if he will update it. |

Thanks for that - wishful thinking on my part. I noticed on his website that he does offer to re-programme so if the codes go again I will send this down to him. Thanks again for all your help.

I was updating n** ireland keys yesterday and deleted the 2nd n** line by accident
5401 - 01. Can I just restore back to factory settings and reinstall, so it goes back to the way it was? |
