Default Buying a new camera. advice please

I am going to buy a new camera as my old one has finally given up. Just need some advice on which one to get? I only really want to spend aroudŁ150 and don't want somthing to bulky as it's a pain to carry round when on holiday.

By the way my old camera was a kodak easyshare dx4900

the best one is sony i had a bad experience with samsung d800

after a good search on the net i found the following link.
Digital First : DigitalCameras : Sony Digital Cameras T7 T9 N1 R1 M2 H1

but i never bought of them. just try.

We had a slim type camera previously, decided to go for something a little better, it came 2 day ago.
I have to say, what quality compared to the last one we had, i went to wales yesterday, well abergele and decided to take a few pics.
Heres where i got my camera from and this model, below are some shots i took without reading manual, just using picture taking button, no settings, not had chance to play with them yet, but i was very happy with results, see what you think.

This shot i was quite far away and zoom'd in, have to say pic came out well from where i took the pic from
