know that you are using a box to view their channels

there was talk that people are being spot checked and the police are involved

i also read that boxes like eurovox max dont have talk back chips in them

unlike the clones which do

so i would like the communities non scare tactic opinions on the topic

No and besides they couldn't enter your residence without permission. It is not illegal to own one of these boxes only if you connect it up without the knowledge of your cable provider

You're right the maxV has not talkback chip

No the clones don't - they are a copy of the original which also doesnt

so no matter how long i have the pay to view channnels on watching them vermin melia will not know if i am or am not even viewing it ?

will they know that a box is connected to their line at all ?

Unless you call them out to do some work in your house and forget to stow your box then you are perfectly safe as far as I am concerned

at the end of the day the only way things happen if you blabbing your mouth off, so ask yourself, how many people know you own a starvox, eurovox or whatever!!!!!!!

and if someone did knock at door you can refuse em entry anyway without a police officer and a bit of paper from a court, and lets face it how much is that gonna cost to catch some nobody, a hell of a lot more than its worth imo.
