message for Lincsat..... have spent the last 4 hours searching the tech watch website for this "proper fix released" thread for the dreambox 500c and unable to find it

have also been unsuccesful in finding the "members FTA" link to access the "magic files" you mentioned

have tried and tried using search options, viewing all cable forums, and have conceaded defeat!.... pls help
i also need the tutorial file for this dreambox 500c but was also unable to find this in your tutorial section

have also visited the dw website but am unable to access the download page

as i do not have the privilages

sorry if this may have been posted/explained but because of the autoroll every forum i go on seems to have a different way and explanation of how to fix the autoroll on the Dreambox 500 C.

Can someone please tell me the simple solution and if possible the steps to take to do it.

i have and RS232 cable with serial to usb connector i have downloaded all Dreambox software i.e Dream up/Dream Contol Center and Dream edit.

I also have nagrom 7, 10 and 11 dowloaded.

I do not have a router. (can i still fix without a router by just using the rs232 cable PC to box)

again im sorry if the solution is posted i have searched and spent hours this and other forums.

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated
