Default UART Driver

Where can I download a UART driver for usb-serial been told it was on disc having purchased lead but it is no where to be found.

Wow, all this talk of serial comms takes me right back!! Anyway, enough nostalgia, what OS are you using? If it's Vista (LOL LOL LOL) then you might have a problem finding a driver...

No I'm using XP been told there is one on the disc that came with USB-Serial Lead but I have looked everywhere and I cannot see it, any suggestions?

Not sure of exact sites but there are plenty of generic ones to download.

yes there is a usb driver disk for this , i will try and get it on rapid share for you..... stay tuned

Here ya go, this is the USB driver i use for my usb to com converter.

Just make sure you go into control panel/system/ports and you will find the USB converter . click on properties and go into advanced then change the comm port from 8 to 2 or 1 if it is free otherwise it wont work ok
