Wow, all this talk of serial comms takes me right back!! Anyway, enough nostalgia, what OS are you using? If it's Vista (LOL LOL LOL) then you might have a problem finding a driver...

Here ya go, this is the USB driver i use for my usb to com converter.
http://***************/files/107012653/Setup.exe.html Just make sure you go into control panel/system/ports and you will find the USB converter . click on properties and go into advanced then change the comm port from 8 to 2 or 1 if it is free otherwise it wont work ok Hope this Helps Acestu |
