Default Cloned Box.

Going to make a complete fool of my self now but what the hek, can you update the s/w on a cloned box? Bet no ones ever asked that before.

Don't bin it yet - is updating the keys manually really that much of a drag? There were admittedly a few key changes done over the last week but that will die back a bit and it won't happen anywhere near as often.

And just cos theres no clone update yet doesn't necessarily mean that someone out there won't hack it for you!

I have 2 boxes, until last week a simple power scan sorted any problems out, never had to manually enter a code. A friend of mine has told me I have one genuine & one cloned, he updated the s/w on the genuine one and it works fine, but the cloned one wont have it at all, even when I enter the same code manually, thus I assume it must be the s/w to blame. Am I so far off the mark?

what box do you have??? i have successfully put the firmware on 2 genuine and 2 cloned boxes. all 4 was the max v box
