Does anyone know if there is a guide to ftp with the dbox? Had a look through forum but couldnt find one. Or is there any other way of copying files over / backing up services etc.

Do a search for FlashFXP and install it on your pc.
The programme has some help files but they are not really necessary. The window has two panes left and right. You select which info you want in each pane by entering the IP login and password info. You can then read and edit files and transfer files between the panes. If you can use windoze explorer then you will find FlashFXP even easier.

All i want to do is connect my dbox to my computer via a crossover ethernet cablle, and copy and paste the fixes over but i don't know how you make the connection, so the files on the dbox appear on my computer screen.
Please could you help asap, as i am in a difficult position where i have had to move my dbox upstairs and connect it, and theres a huge mess! |
