ok finally got the dreambox to work and access the key folder as per redarrows tutorial but now am stuck right at the end instruction of his tutorial..... unable to paste the new rom files into the keys folder. pls help as this is the last stage. when i right click on the mouse the paste option is just greyed out

yes
 yes yes ............ sorted it out.message for cam180 i couldnt paste my image either, so i downloaded the software "FlashFXP" and that sorted it bare in mind u will have to configure the connection in this software first by going to ........sites->site manager and input the very simple details : 1. site name ftp://192.168.0.100/ 2. ip address 192.168.0.100 (same as site name) 3. click apply 4. then connect (making sure your box is connected to the computer) 5. guide your right hand window to the keys folder(in your dreambox) 6. in the left window to your 3 rom(.bin files) and highlight them 7. click on the transfer selected icon and then over write the files in the right hand window. and its done |

Guys, Lincast and other seniors here gave us lot of information ... but it will be our responsibility to use these and get our boxes up and running.. I am sure they wouldn't mind helping but helping each one of you will be a difficult task .. so lot of reading and r&d will help you guys to learn what you don't know also ..
