The Laky Pro 1 image already has the service file for my area. I've tried changing the ucodes and its picked up SS1 and SS3 but says channel not available.

Anyone else got any other suggestions I could try?

Johny48

It's not anything to do with a splitter and it's already connected to the main feed. My box has only just picked up SS1 and SS3 (no SS2 though) after changing ucodes. I'm 99% sure it's because I'm in an analogue area but was wondering if anyone knew a way to get these channels up and running?

Darrenm72

I can't update it with the remote as there is no way of putting the " in on the remote.

I think I'll have to put up with flicking to SS News every 2 mins and annoying the missus! I'll try and sort it before Saturday though!

If anyone has nay other suggestions then let me know, thatnks for all your help guys!

Your not in the M38 area of Manchester by any chance are you robbo?
As ive just got through hours of trying to get my brother-in-laws dreambox & dbox2 to work in that area.

According to both virginmedia and before them ntl its an analogue area, which i found kinda odd because he's got broadband.Anyway i tried both boxes (without splitters) and managed to pick up s*y sports 2 & mutv, with spiltters on there were no sports or discovery type channels.

I then tried using the konig booster (yelow brick like thing) and it found no channels, not even bbc or itv untill i introduced a splitter and turned the slope control down (slightly). In the end he ended up with some of the entertainment channels and setanta sports but no s*y sports or documentaries channels. An the sig level on the dreambox showed between 65 to 72%.

Will be back there next week to try again but at the moment it doesnt look hopeful.

Yea mate, I'm in M38. I've managed to get my box to pick up S*y Sports 1,2,3 and MUTV and a few others that I couldn't get but the SNR isn't strong enough to actually display a picture!

Let me know how you get on...
