Default Yankse Says Invalid Key

I am trying to get my TT1501 to work with MediaPortal and so far have not been able to view any encrypted channels. My transponders are 6887 so I believe its N*L.

Fenrir is 1.05.3 and comes up with PID 0080
(Nagra-PK) Provider:5401 NTL ROM:7
New Keys 0: *****31E 1: *****38B
First Update
then another very similar Key

Yankse 1.3.2.1 says the CA is 1800 but
Prov ID 5401 Unknown
Key 00 (Invalid Key)

Does anyone have experience with Fenrir/Yankse who could help me out with this Encryption part. I only have the Rom7.bin and the nagra.key file is being updated and read correctly. Do I need a new Nagrakey.txt file ?

I am so pleased with the picture quality of this DVB-C card by Tecnotrend it is outstanding. As good as my TDrive using HDMI. Mediportal TV server can produce a perfect stream over the network (not WIFI) with all the correct patches and a DVI monitor. Amazing really a perfect picture but I am waiting to decrypt BBC HD to see if the TT 1501 can get better.

Any ideas would be much appreciated. I tried Vplug but it gave memory leak errors. Emun is an option but I think my issues are in the Nagra folder and this is the same for all 3 I believe. I am overlooking something here but out of google and ideas.

Hi Ugg, look here to be sure of your area, I would also install the BigmaQ toolbar (google it) for your keys, now as most people know VM are doing things with the emm/code so fenrir will give you the correct key then a false one, atm the 01 key on the 10th+14th hex number is wrong then correct in my area (ex c&w) so write down the keys from bigmaq and compare with what fenrir is getting this will tell you for sure the correct keys, just in case they have rolled and bigmaq has not updated. I can't help you with mediaportal or yanksee try vplug 2.0.3.0 (what I use) or one from the link below and I if you dont get those errors I can help further, oh btw I think (not sure) they have changed the provider IDs as well! look here for your softcams.

Thanks Willin, You were spot on, fenrir was giving a good then false key. I stopped Fenrir updating the nagra.key and put the correct values in from BigMaq and Yankse decrypts. Now that put a smile on my face after 2 weeks.

If I use Vplug do I need specific files for my area (v_keys.db) or is it generic. How does it handle key changes is it automatic like the fenrir/yankse concept. I downloaded vplug2.0.3 do I need to more files ?

Nice to here your up and running, very satisfying when things work after spending that long on it. you just need to input the keys for your area with vplug, atm vplug don't update but I am trying to get fenrir to talk to vplug to update, but been busy lately lol, now I'm not sure if anything will update after the changes vm are making, but vplug is very easy to update manually, so try and put your v-keys file in vplug to see, if not I can show you how if you want.

Ok Willin

I have not been able to get Vplug working with media portal, can you enlighten me somewhat where you put the files. Normally they go in the MDplugins folder to work with Agarwals filter. Maybe if you can say where they go in whatever you use I can figure it out. Fenrir does not work at all now so forget trying to get it to port to vplug, since the 16th anyhow. If I run the vplug install shield it looks for the dvb app you are using to work out where to put the dll's. I am thinking also emnu as I know some guys got this to work with agarwals. I need to move on from yankse to vplug.

Hi ugg, I’ll go over how to update vplug and how I get the keys instantly when they roll for the benefit of everyone. Since the CC tweaked the keyroll method (around the 8.4.08. I think) softcam emulators don’t seem to AU so I get the keys from fenrir and input into vplug if bigmaq has not updated.
Go to vplug/plugins/show monitor, the blue icon on the far right will show what keys are in the database. To update right click on the lock icon under ecm (hex) and choose quick op key editor. It will ask for the 00 or 01 key, type in the key and ok, do this on a scra*bled channel and it should clear, if not do it once more and it may ask for the other key, check in the database and see.
If you have fenrir installed go to plugins/fenrir monitor and start it off, it will find two differing keys their is either one or two numbers different so just try a combination of them and you’ve got the correct keys.
