i have never known a genuine box with a spiky cpu
just put clone software on it i have a clone been running fine now for 14 months

Ok. I have the Clonesafe bin file and thanx Martin F. But if you or anyone else could be definate this is a clone I'd appreciate it.
Is the Clonesafe file just an altered Starview 1 fix file(Not for Clones) and therefore is it safe just in case your box is not a clone.

just put the clone firmware on the box are update the keys the firmware will work on genuine s/v 1 aswell
what have you been doing to get the box working the 257ee as not auto rolled for a while

Thanx for replying Martin. But I'm trying to fix this for a mate. We're both in Dublin and I fixed my Eurovox with the latest firmware. He however wanted to do the same with his box.
We are up to date with the link you sent me. But are you also saying I could also use the clone firmware? The Clonesafe one as of 18th april on the downloads page.
