Hi, which part of the PID's determines the channels EPG ?

None - the epg data stream is mapped to individual pids.

Ok, its just that the channel " SP1 " on 28e has no EPG. And i'd like to transport the Sky Sports 1 UK epg onto it.

Probably not possible....

Why do you want to use SP1 instead of Sky SPorts 1 anyway??

Because only the Irish Sky Sports one has a picture. The other two versions have audio and a betting stream only :S
