What happens when you switch your box on? Is it stuck in standby? Are there any messages on screen? When did this start to happen?

The more info you, give the more we can help

The temporary fix i.e. manually updating the keys works perfectly well. Google the 'bigMAQ toolbar' and install it. There is an icon on this Latest Keys - just look for your service provider.

For the permanent fix read this

hi i know this will help but if you download bmaq toolbar then you can find the latest codes for your box form there and put the codes on your cable box.
if you want to know how to input them on your cable box then all of the answers are in the other threads on how to input them.
i might aswell say again what i have mentioned
Go to google type in Bmaq toolbar >download it>a toolbar will come on your internet explorer and you will find a part called latest codes or keys> find what type of cable people you are with and there you will find the codes for your cable box.

hope this helps

Many thanks
