i have tried to load the new firmware into my mates box but it keeps saying not compatable with this box the firmware he has on it is dated 2006 not sure if its a clone? it is not the same as my 2008 box mine is all black his has silver panel on the front can anyone advice please

read ronsters post for flashing will tell you everything on it, thats what i used includes pictures on what to look for if it is cloned
