Default Newbie; Can youu manually input a channel?

Hi all
Can someone pleae help? Is it possible to input a seperate channel and how do you find the baudrate for the channel you want. I cannott get Sky Sports 1 or ITV2 even when I update channels. (I have Sky Sports 2,3,Extra and ITV 1,4). I am in Hampshire and am an Ex C&W. Also could someone also tell me what would be the correct Power Scan settings for me to get all channels. Sorry to be a nuisance and apologies and thanks in advance.
Kind regards
