can anyone help me out here i have a starview but me sister for reason decided to get an ultra and its gone down like all the others and here supplier has vanished (cant think why) and she has asked me to help (big bruv to the rescue)..only i dont know jack about em other than they may possibly be deambox clones and they need ftp ing ..now i am pretty good with the starviews so i should be able to find me way round once i have the basics for them ..updating info, image, key inputting ,proggies,tuts but cant find any difinitive tuts or info

Im using an ultra, they are just a dm500c clone. So all the images work on the ultra!

Which eurovox is it red or blue thats the box it came in blue-2006, red-2007 mod. if you can find out which mod the up date is almost the same as the starview the update file is in the loader you have to save the channels first or you have to do a rescan.

The Ultra is NOT a Eurovox, its a clone of a dreambox DM500c, so the above method won't work.

There is now a fix for the dreambox which came out yesterday, you need to copy 3 files to the box via FTP to update the rom files.

If you PM me your email address I'lls send you the files. They need to go in var/keys.

If Linc or another mod is around I can give them the files to upload to the downloads section???? - though I'm sure you'll have them already I ogt them from another forums where I know some of us are also members

Just noticed the main file you need to send over is on BigMAQ, under updates -> dreambox

The files are available from the download links and have been since they were released. Look in Cable TV/Dreambox
