Default Hello

Hi
Yet another newbie to this site, I have been browsing site for a while due to my Eurovox Max being blocked, scrambled or whayerver it is that VM are doing to the signal.

There looks like there are loads of fixes out there which I have tried but still not working yet.

Any help would be appreciated.

Cheers Gaz

This works for everyone - if its not working for you then a typo or not saving correctly is the problem

Ronsters Quick fix for updating keys

For the permanent fix, you will find the firmware you need on the bigMAQ toolbar under the Updates/Fixes icon,

look here Ronsters Guide To Flashing Box For Newbies

Cheers

Did all that with the BigMaq, done the save chanel data to desk top and then continued to the download, where it stays on the "waiting for response of your receiver" been like for what seems an age. Am I doing this wrong.

Its not finding your box.

What cable are you using to connect, is it a NULL MODEM cable or a standard cable (they both look the same but they are wired differently).

Also, what port are you connected to - the firmware loader can only see COM Ports 1 thru 4.

Is your box powered on and in standby and make sure your cable connections are firm?
