Hi,

I flashed a dreambox 500c using the Neutrino uk05 beta90 image, from the download section, but now when i try to flash again using Flash Wizard Pro 6.3, I cant connect to the DreamBox using Login: root, Password: dreambox.

Does anyone know the correct login details for this image?

Same problem here. I have flashed Commando 9.10 to my nokia dbox2, cannot login to box using username root and password dbox2, I assumed someone had changed my password (someone has previously worked on the box so it could be possible)

Anyone out there have any suggestions for us?

Flash the Dreambox with Dreamup.

Commando password is commando

Hi Lincsat,

I've tried flashing the 500c with DreamUp But get an error when uploading the image to the box. pop-up box reads: ERROR, upload aborted!

I've tried a different box and get the same message. I've also tried a latter version of DreamUp.

The cable im using is a brand new Null Modem Cable from Maplins.

I'm gonna try using a friends laptop and lead tommorrow, so will post my results.

If you have any ideas, that would be great.

I have little success using null-modem only - it always works for me when using the network cable.

Get yourself a crossover ethernet cable and try again.

Have you had these errors before??

Thing is there currently no image on the box at the moment, due to a bad flash.

I think this is my only option, as i cant set the ip of the box.

Hi with uk05 you can,t use flashwizard pro you need to use dreamup and null modem cable to flash another image

yh cheers mate, i used dreamup to flash with dw v2.0 image. i've ftp'd the new nagrarom images into the var/key directory, but cant view sub'd channels.

I restored factory settings and performed a bruteforce scan, which recieved all channels ok.

is there anything i've missed??
