It would be interesting to know if this happens once you have arranged your favourites with the new software in place.

I would wonder if this is merely a 'quirk' happening with the channel info upload?

A bit harsh to say software is flawed! You're watching the telly aren't you????

New software is NOT flawed, you just didn't backup your channel list first as suggested many times in the forum.

If the firmware detects you are upgrading the firmware (From the Oct 07 version for example) It performs a factory reset to ensure that the new features work properly.

i backed up my channel list before the new firmware
but if i scan for any new channels it stuffs up my favs, i have to unplug to get it back to how it was.
so i'd say there is a slight problem with it

so does this new firmware work or am i wasteing my time trying to put it in i have heard it's ment to help with the keyroll ??????????????

yes I did save my chanenel list mate but lost it all even favs when i did manual scan, also there is lots on my fav list i never put there after doing a manual scan, thanks for the tip any way.

Why did you scan if you have a CDF file already.

AUTOSORT is a brand new feature incorporated into this release originally introduced in the 28/3/08 release.

This feature put your channels into a fav listing when you did the scan.

Hi i did back up film ware, try it your self, yowl see what i mean, manual scan anything, it will be all gone, your backup list.
