Download the latest version of itunes from apple website , install it and restart your computer. Then run Itunes and plug your Ipod into your usb port only when Itunes is open. Itunes should pick it up if you do it in that order.
If it doesnt pick it up automatically i would check on wether your Ipod is infact a genuine Ipod, only last week a friend asked me to put songs on his Ipod, it looked like an ipod , it had all the ipod markings on it aswell, but itunes wouldnt pick it up when i plugged it in. After a few searches on google i found out his was a fake. Do a quick search on google images for "ipod classic" and look at the pictures of the menu , if yours look different chances are its a fake. |
