Official Sky card & Dragon CAM?
Had a brainwave, and thought, would my official Sky card go into my Dragon CAM to receive the channels which my receiver pointing at Astra 2A cannot? Like Channel 4, Ch5, Five US, Five Life, E4 etc? I cancelled my subscription to Sky completely at the beginning of this month so there shouldn't be anything there but the FTA channels anyway now. If I did put the Sky card in the CAM would it affect the Predator software which already exists there? Told you it was a silly question ![]() |

I'm a touch confused by your question, as an official Sky card wil open the channels you mention on a Sky Digibox, even after the subscription has lapsed, as it effectively becomes a freesat from Sky equivalent card.

Basically, I want to do away with my Sky Digibox as it has now become redundant. It has remained in my tv/entertainment unit solely because it can receive Ch5, Ch4 etc. But if the Sky card can pick up these channels by inserting it into my Dragon CAM through my FS, then I would have no need for the Digibox at all. If it can't be done, then the Digibox is staying (for now....) ![]() |
