After all the carry on over the last week I had a Samsung with a card (not sure which) which no longer works and I don't have the skills etc to program so was looking at getting a new box that can have keys etc input manually
Question is which one? I am leaning towards the eurovox (not sure why!) Anyone else got any input? Also my laptop hasn't got an RS232 connection. Is there a way round this so I can flash firmware in future! Thanks for the help in advance! |

Eurovox is good for plug and play as is the ArNet Kryptview which was fastest with the keyroll fix.
In addition to using an rs232 NULL MODEM cable, you can use a rs232 to USB adapter but these can be a bit hit and miss (they work for some but not for others and even more problematic on Vista). |

I've got a vista/XP dual boot so hopefully shouldn't run into too many problems using the usb adaptor |
