Default Picture freezes every 10 minutes

My dbox2 freezes after every 10 minutes and the then comes back after couple of minutes, is there anything I can do to stop this.

I have tried removing the splitter and connecting directly and also using a signal booster which I brought from Argos but didn’t work

The best combination for general use is UCODE 001A with SPTS mode OFF. You may also get a better results with Hardware sections OFF - that's in driver & boot options on newer images

I'm having the same problem mate with a sagem 2x box, Ive tryed everything image going, some working better than others.but now I recon it could be it could be a problem with the box. Ive been told on a diferent forum that, well this "
You may also find that the power board is on its way out. In a Sagem box these are quite common problems, but are luckily easy to fix. It is usually a simple capacitor change that does the trick, and is very easy to solder. If thats over your head you can pick up spare power boards from ebay... they just slide into the box and you connect 2 wires - nothing major.

I dont want you to jump at that idea and go out and buy the next power board you find, but in my experience (and I have ALOT of experience of Sagem DBOXes before I turned into a Nokia convert!) the power board is a very common problem which causes the exact symptoms that you describe. You may also find that it sometimes chirps and squeeks too. " here's a link to the thread. http://www.cableferret.info/ourcommunity/showthread.php?t=192

If you try this let me know if it works My box is under warranty i think but i still might try this as the postage will cost more to send the box back.
