Hi, I wonder can anyone help me! The new update for eurovox 2008, wont load onto this machine, and there seems to be no patch for this version.

Does anyone know if it is possible, if I could install the firmware version that comes on the 2008 version, onto this machine. And if so, does anyone know any links to the firmware. In desperate need of help. Any help, would be accepted, with great appreciation, and many, many thanks!

go to Bigmac bigmaq Toolbar - Download install the toolbar

All the files needed for every type of box can be downloaded

In the toolbar click update/fixes, then eurovox fixes

What do you mean by 'it won't load' are you getting an error message or is the box not responding to your PC?

Are you using an rs232 NULL MODEM cable on its own or in conjunction with an rs232 to USB adaptor?

The more info you give the easier it is for us to help.

Thanks for your help folks. Have download the files form the toolbar, Used the null modem cable, loaded the software to the box, but won't update the codes. The 2008 version, don't work and this box, and the older version, is too old to deal with the new Nthell changes. At the moment, there doesn't seem to be a patch for this box! If you can give us any direction, it would be very helpfull. Thanks in advance! I have updated my family and friends boxes for them and they worked perfect, as they don't have the same box as me. It seems the patch for my box, is not out there, I have looked, and looked, and looked, but to no avail. Cheeeers!

My MaxV is also one of the earlier release models and is working fine for me in the same area, same provider.

When you connect back up it can take up to 20mins for everything to kick back to normal. Are you still getting the 'Updating Code' message or is it something different this time?

Same old, same old...... Please wait, code being updated... The 2008 version wont load onto the machine. When I try it says.....This firmware is not fit for your machine. And when I load the earlier update edition, it won't update. Has me going mad. I have updated all my friends and families boxes, as theirs is different to mine. Any ideas of what I can do. Thanks in advance........What software did you use to update your box......and would you have any idea of where I could lay my hands on it. My kids are going mad, seen me fixing everybody elses, but can't get my own up and running. Thanks in advance.....

Hi download BigMAQ toolbar just google it all the latest key's are on there you can manual input them to get your box up and running. if you need help how to do this just search this site it's been coverd a lot over the last week donot request any key's to be sent to you as this is against the rule's and will get you banned still stuck repost.

I wonder is your box a clone as in a blue or red box in a black's casing. (have heard of this scenario before).

( In which case you're stuck with manually inputting the keys - WRONG - clone updates released earlier this am. Thanks satsmo for the correction)
