Default Anyone else had this problem after updating firmware??

Hi there guys, I have a Eurovox Max V 08, and after the recent key rolls I decided to update my firmware on Friday. Now everything seems to be working fine generally, however my signal level and quality used to be usually between 81 or 82%. Since updating the firmware, my signal is usually between 77-79%. Now I wouldn't normally be panicked by this small change, but every now and again the sound skips, if only for say 1/10th of a second. Any ideas??
Not a major problem, but just a minor nuisance I guess......

Looking over the threads today, I'd say quite a few have experienced a deterioration in the signal and seems a signal booster is the solution (argos is a popular source)

In fact I think this may be the third time I posted this or similar

Just out of interest Lucky, what percentage does your signal run at?

Mine depending on the frequency is at 81-85%

Actually your change is quite small compared to the others - have you tried setting on the signal booster option in the TV settings on the box?

Yeah turned the signal booster on, to be fair the sound skipping only was happening when Steve McManaman was talking during half time in the Chelsea v Wigan match, seems to have sorted itself out now!
Might be something to do with his scouse accent........

everyone talks of this signal booster option, are you sure it is not something to do with the tv/vcr output rather than the feed level? i have tried it on and off and it makes no difference to my levels, they are always 79-82%

Actually this is the only time I have ever suggested it because the signal reduction was so slight for sajid that a signal booster would make things worse.

It makes no difference to my levels but it might to someone else
