do the following:

Press "Dbox" button on the remote
Select "Service" (or press 6)
Select "Channel scan" (or press green button)

Change the "Scan for Channels" option to "Only TV"
Change "Channel Order" to "New"
Change "Area" to "Sym 6952 (Tellypest) or Sym6877 (N*L)"
Change "UK Fast Scan" to "Off"
Leave "Scan mode" as "UK"
Change Frequency to your area (Google NET ID's)
Change Symbol Rate To Your Area
Leave "Background Scan" as "Off"

Select "Scan Now" (or press blue button)


Should sort you out, worked for me as soon as I dug out the NET ID info

How do you go about changing the frequency and the symbol rate. These options aren't available for me. Well they're there but greyed out and not able to change?

using laky pro, great image, lost my bouquets though. about 300 n odd channels all workings, got a few test channels though. picture seems alot better also.

you need to set area location before scan, that is vital, hope that helps anyone having trouble.

*location setter ist he blue button.

have a dreambox dm 500-c
how do you find out if chipset 1 or 2?

tried bigmaq to download the file but some reason comes up with -

55 cant change directory to /htdocs/cable files/updates and fixes/dbox fixes/2xchipset/all new laky-pro-1 .rar: no such file or directory

any suggestions would be truly grateful.. also if someone can forward on link to flash the box be fantastic...thank you for taking the time to read this also much appreciated...s

Has the defualt password changed for the FTP access? I can't seem to access the files through Windows FTP anymore?
