Default please help

i have a eurovox 2 and i have seen conflicting view on if it is compatiable with the new 10/04/08 firmware releases. i know previously the eurovox 2 has work withed the blue firmware (previous releases). I was told that if i brought the eurovox blue remote (which i now have), i would be able to flash with blue firmware and then use the new remote as my old one would no longer work. However now when i am trying to flash with the new firmware i just get an invalid firmware message. Any ideas? any help will be much appreciated.

hiya thanks for the help, i think he meant boxes flashed previously though. I am going to try and reflash a previous firmware and then try again in case i have an error somewhere. But for anybody else that is trying i think i know what the problem is:

Previously with boxes like ev1, ev2, replay pvr you would load dnupman and then load the firmware (a .bin file). now the whole firmware package seems to come in a .exe so you cant load the .bin from dnupman because it is not present. and when you run the .exe of the new firmware it is already set up to reject your box, (probably to stop you bricking your box).
