The old code from the BigMaq toolbar still works for me, i have the Oct 07 firmware and have the Max V 2008 box. - But on other posts i've heard that updating the box with the latest firmware is the best thing to do...
The reason i havent is i was worried that more problems would occour, so i decided that i would wait and see how other people find it. From alot of the post i see the 'code being updated' problem and many others are still happening, they usually dont happen stright away but alot of people say it happends a few days later? Can people please post how the new firmware for the 2008 Box went and please vote to see if it was a success or a fail? Last edited by PIMP-KHAN; 15-04-08 at 12:06 PM. |

People have been posting here
Did You Fix Work Also be aware that whereas the update may be working for people they may have found the update difficult to do as are new to this kinda stuff. So 'yes no problem whatsoever' is a bit of a loaded gun And again, this update did not fix the keyroll issues for CH*S ireland so the votes may be distorted by that as well Last edited by lucky13; 15-04-08 at 12:15 PM. Reason: didn't fix CH*S |

all updates for all stb's are worth doing, if the software helps the stb to emulate better, and perform faster auto updates on a key roll whatever implementation, is being used surely it must be worth it

Latest Firmware seems to run smoother and has the FAST INSTALL option.. (Might want to turn off the auto sort channel option tho..)
I like the new look with the EPG program info showing while u browse channels.. My votes: Yes, use it! |
