froze while flashing,, only fix a null cable??

i was flashing my dbox with the new laky image when then dbox decided to freeze up on me so had to pull the plug. now my dbox does not load and says kein system,, i found a guid tellin me how to fix this problem but it involves using a null cable or a old modem cable, i do not have this cable so was wonderin if there is another way of fixing the dbox using a network cable? thanx

Mine did the same with a bad Andro image file. Find a good image from a reliable source and then with IFA and a crossover cable set your pc IP as per ftp. then start IFA - Pick your image and network and start button -switch your Dbox2 on or off and on if its already on - You should see Dbox LCD read FLASHING if it doesn't within 10 or 20 secs switch Dbox off and on again - I had to switch off/on SIX times before mine worked so stay with it, if it don't work after about 10 attempts start again from beginning- You will get a FLASHRD BOX message when done - Close IFA before restarting Dbox or it will flash again - use Scotsters beginners guide to everything for more details.
