this may work for others...
downloaded the bigmaq tool bar entered the codes for the relevant area still did not work so reset to factory settings and re-entered still no channels then turned on emu menu and exit this worked.

I Have The Box Pvr And Couldnt Fine The Menu To Turn Emu On
