Default Eurovox Max V

Can anyone help. New to box, had 2 weeks and of course started great on fire up then 10 days ago just came up with updating codes please wait. Have read all the posts and got bigmaq toolbar and can see the codes but now don't understand what to do with them or how to read them. Also note there is a up-date named kuro3_10_04_08 which I have down loaded but not put on box as mine is supposed to have latest flashware. Can anyone tell me what to do. Cheers.

The firmware you have downloaded should be the auto update fix brought to resolve the keyroll changes. If you are not getting any channels than you are going to need a null modem to connect to your so that you can then download the auto update fix.

if you bought your box two weeks ago then the new firmware u have downloaded is dated 10_04_08 so it clearly newer than the previous firmware loaded on your box,

If u update with the new firmware u will not need 2 enter the codes

Have that null lead, it came with unit. So, I download the firmware onto the box, put back to tv start up, can you tell me what then? Cheers, Bryan. P.S please bear in mind not used to doing any of this as new to whole thing so if you could explain in simple terms I would really appreciate.

not to sure if its the same kinda set up with the max v 2008 as i have the red box 2007 but when i updated my firmware it was just a case of doing a power scan and letting the box find the channels
