jus a question for all those who have updated their boxes

can u put on new firmware and thats it, or do u hav to put on a prev firmware first, before u put on the latest one

i have no firmware on my box what so ever

and also, will the original remote control work on box after updated firmware, or do u need a remote from a newer eurovox model

You can just put on newest firmware and yes the remote will continue to work.

If there is no firmware on the box, when you try downloading it from your pc you will get a 'System Reset' message. At this point you need to disconnect and re-connect the power lead from your Eurovox.

Just make sure that you are using the firmware specifically for your box model.
