you can get them at maplins though they are pricey!!! also they are kinda hitty missy depending on the quality
My advice is buy a normal Null modem cable (lincsat has them and he knows his stuff) then find a mate with a pc rather than a laptop |

I got mine from here
http://stores.ebay.co.uk/Cablestar-Limited £2:38 and that included postage, the actual cable was 99p DB. |

can you not just use a USB Serial adapter cable or does it have to be a Null Modem Cable to re-flash??
I have ordered this http://stores.channeladvisor.com/cab...m%202m%20Cable but was wondering about the serial lead. Cheers Last edited by redeye; 15-04-08 at 09:50 PM. |

I totally agree with DB. My windows laptop didn't have a null input either so I did the same thing- purchased a usb/RSA232 and null from ebay. The combo works absolutely fine. My only advice is to ensure that you spend the time installing the USB connector first (should come with a CD) - as you will need the drivers. After that You're set to go. It might be me but when I first tried to flash using this method I couldn't connect to the Vox - I simply changed the com ports on the USB connector to an appropriate one (after reading this forum!) and away it went.
