Has it been Power Scanned lately so as to pick-up any changes in transmission frequencies over the past months? That is usual reason for the occasional channel dropping to a black screen.

Hi Peeps,

a bit of help here aswell

am using the E/V 2008 v, done the new software scaned 2 or 3 times as some channels were missing, sorted all the channels out (took me blooody ages) saved my cdf file.
Then lastnight i tried to watch S/Sports 1- black screen this is the same on about 5 other channels, so i thought i'll rescan and then upload the cdf again, rescan all channels working then uploaded the cdf, nnnnooooooooooo black screen again on the same channels. it shows whats on, on the EPG
Question is how do i get them back so i dont have to use the cdf? how do you manually tune the channels.....stupid guide would be perfect

Look through the TVCh headings for the programmes this happens on ...sometimes the Eurovox picks up all sorts of channels that are not really there,or they are but under a different name......

Don't panic! - have you made the firmware change or just been manually doing codes so far?!
