Just won this £52 for 90cm dish motorised with lnb and technomate 5000

its got a silent gold .99 motor carnt really find info about it so any links would be greatfull

Hi mate, nice one. I am not sure about the box, but the dish, LNB and the motor should be worth the money on their own. The motor should be a good one, so no need to worry about it, just as you should not pay any heed to the reply you have had from justlucy, sour grapes I would suggest.

I am sure some of the guys who use the Technomate boxes will have a bit of advice for you, but I would say you have a bargain there and a good starter pack, so to speak. Good luck with it and you will have all the help you need to set up your dish and system.

cheers for the reply people I was just going to jump in the deep end and buy a dream box but quite expencive so though ad start with a technomate system

learn the basic's and save for a dreambox pleased withe the 90cm motorised dish though should get a few sats with that

am also going to buy a skystar2 for the pc cheap as chips so should have some fun there

Yes you had a very good buy there! I used to have a DAPCI, very nice box. Get a dragon or Diablo cam to put into it.

Hi cross,
I still have a DAPCI and I use it for positioning my 1.2CM, I just can't get the V-Box to work no matter what I do with it. I even used the 500 to set up the damned thing, but it will not dive to the satellites, must give it another go. I can still get all the FTA stuff from 28.2E on the DAPCI so it has still got it's uses. They were a great box, in their day, still are for that matter.

Good move there mate, all you will need is a twin output LNB and bob's your uncle. You can use the box to drive the dish to the sat you want and then turn it of and you will be able to receive on the PC.

yeah I'm a bit stuck now I've been looking for the latest patch for the box and havent got a clue where to get it coz I have to patch it to a next box

so if some one knows the last or latest patch for this box please help me or any sites with infomation on this site would be good

I get it on saturday so would like to know as much as possible by then

also ive been told to just get a cam for about £60 quid but I could just get a tm-1000d or 1000ci for that so I dont want to go down that route

planning on getting one of the other boxes just not yet as dont have the coin spare
