Default Virgin code update cripples cable boxes

Hi,

I have had a few people keep on asking me, is it worth getting a chipped box.

I have no idea if VM are going to send regular hits on the cable lines as I have read recently.???

All I can say is the boxes have gone down many times before and a fix has always been found within a week. Who knows if this will always be the case!
