Is it possible to stop the pace 4000 from updating once it's been re-set to a new netID.

I wish to know for an experiment.

If this can be done then I will post the findings on here which could be an intrest to nearly everyone on the forum..

whats this experiment then? is it to see if you can still have blue epg?

You get some of the on demand channels with the old blue epg, like with eurovox, mostly porn.

5av1dg312: thats what i'm experimenting.

My friend who's box I done for him had ordered 3 live events.

The TB has been cut (i done it when I first mod'ed the box).

Thats why I need the requested information to see if it true or just a major fluke.

I cant see it being a fluke as he got 3 events but only time will tell.

Dont put it on line untill you have done the mod, or it will update straight to virgo.

on a box i done once (sammy 2100) i shorted the batt and skipped download and had blue menus but now if i do it it goes straight to virgin anyway for some reason.
