You are entitled to your opinion, but I shall be sticking with them, they did no harm to my 500s, I just flashed with the 431 image yesterday and it is a very good stable image so why should I deny myself to benefits of using the Gemini image. I don't have a clone or copy so they are not doing me any harm, they are, rather, helping me, so I shall stick with them.

The way I look at it is, if you play with fire you will get your fingers burnt. Those who bought cheap clones, bought just that so why should DMM not stop their boxes working, after all they did not contribute in any way to the development of any DMM box, they took money from DMM, by buying the cloned box.

As for those who bought a copy, they must have known what they were getting when they paid less money for the box. All of you who bought a 500s copy, just google dreambox 500s and have a look at the cost of them from the manufacture, in China or India, you will be even sicker when you see what they were costing the crooks you bought them from.

The only people who I feel sorry for are the ones who bought their box from supposedly reputable retailers and were sold a copy. It is not that difficult to tell a copy 500s, the remote is sh!t compared to the real one, there are also differences under the cover. The differences have been doing the rounds for years now and they were on the Gemini forum, so they did what they thought was right, i.e. they were trying to educate people to the differences in the genuine box and a copy.

It is time to put the hankies away and get on with life.

Very best regards Wez

I have no doubt that you would feel very different if you suddenly found out that your 7025 was actually a clone and was destryed by DMM.

Well Jim, I should think that it would be the first copy of a 7025 to be found. I still do not care as I am of the opinion that if you get shafted then hard cheese, deal with it and get on with live, all this crying will get us nowhere.

The world is full of dreamboxes, buy a new one.

I wonder how many of those crying their eyes out now, will be breaking their necks to get a new 800 or 8000, when they eventually become available?

Very best regards Wez
