hi there, i've got stuck with a starview clone and ive got the 257fixed firmware on it..why is it that every time they key change the box does not update properly..itll have the right keys on it but one letter will always be wrong..

any suggestions?

Your cable provider has changed how they roll the keys and has confussed the firmware on your box. There have been fixes released at this stage for "most" boxes, however starview clones are not one of them. You'll will have to sit tight until someone releases a fix, and DON'T be fooled by the dodgy firmware that is doing the rounds at the minute. It's actually firmware for real starviews and will most likely brick your box

a fix would be nice but its no hard ship inputting codes

yes and i have seen a lot of clone save software in the past that brick boxes

install @ your own risk

There is one by sunrise now, which as been reported as safe, for clone box's.
