Saving Channels Before adding Firmware

Hi guys,

im going to add the latest fix for my EV2 tonight and i dont want the hassle of having to sit for an hour and put my channels in order again!! does anyone no how to save my channels to my pc before so i can install it while i am updating the firmware??

Press the upload tab first it will save the cdf file - then run your update by pressing the large download tab - Once you've done the update press the smaller download tab to put your channels back as they were - Hope this helps

Hello there you know if i do save them then put them back on my eurovox will they be in the same order

Yup but not sure of channel locks - I have 0 as no kids but doing my pal's one tomorrow........will locks be saved in the Eurovox 2 if I save using Voxer? when re-d/l file to his 2??? (XXX channels)

Don't think the locks will be saved as your menu lock is reset after the update - hope this helps

Thanks for that. I know I'm a complete idiot, but I wasn't sure whether "Upload" meant upload to the computer from the box or vice-versa.
