New software on the box, which seems to be updating codes automatically, sometimes takes longer than others, but eventually channels come back.
I was wondering what sort of times you guys are seeing it take to update. Also, there doesnt seem to be any point in sorting channels as when the code updates, all the channels seem to go back to the softwares "suggested" favourites. Any advice? |

hi, i think u fine it depends on what channel you on when your updating the code. if your on a channel with a higher frequency then it takes a little longer..
ive found that a channel like ITV4 is one of the best for updating it quickly, i am also tele#*st.. Hope this helps J4M1E

Over the water here we've had 5 keyrolls since 4.30pm. Each time the box took bout 2/3 mins to update. If the box is on when the keys roll the 'Insert Smart Card' message displays and stays until you either change channel or switch off and on the box. Once done it the moves on to 'code updating'.
My favs have not been affected and I have now been through 10/11 keyrolls since updating the firmware last Saturday

New firmware working fine ... except - timings have gone haywire. I used to be an hour out - the program lists/EPG seem to relate to another day or something. Did the update cause som big offste here? Any solution? Thanks. |

search the forum for the time problem. i'm pretty sure you have to manually set the time and date then save then unplug your box and plug back in again. should be sorted then
