Well, I'm off the blocks now.

Thanks to Curious123, I tried PLi Iolite which comes with CCcam 2.0.4 and a lot of extra features not on the original image. At least now I don't have to keep a telnet session open to keep CCcam running.

Thanks again to all.

I wouldn't touch Gemini with a barge pole after what they have done! Hippocrates on about clones! What the hell have they done or are doing.

BUY A CLONE! SAVE MONEY AND UP YOURS GEMINI!!

Use NABILOSAT: Best choice for clones and dreamboxes (Guaranteed)

Fade2gray (and others),

You should normally install a new image instead of the original dreambox software in order for cardsharing to work (or watching via cccam or any other coding system for that matter).

Don't get me wrong. I am a beginner still also. And I also have a question about cccam and how to make it work in order to watch CD for free etc.
I have a dreambox 500+ and a Gemini image. I also have the possibility to download via Bluepanel the different coding systems and even configs.

But what then? How to make it work? What coding system to use for Cd nl? Should the downloaded configs be enough to make it work or do I need to update the configs manually with serverinfo (from some cardsharing server that I would have to find? or?)
Should I be able to watch for free with the codingsystems installed (confg files downloaded)
Any help with this is appreciated. I find it all very confusing (and I am quite technical..)

Also, does anybody know where I can dowload manually the newest cccam.cfg?
(and how to configure it? - if needed to configure manually..??)

If that info is not supposed to be on the forum, please send me an email via the email-button in this forum.

Thank you already very much.

Google 'cardsharing' and all your questions will be answered.
