HD Cable Box - Techwatch: Satellite TV forums, FTA, Cable, Hardware, & Tech forums

I am after a HD cable box that will give me facilities such as Recording and Storage capability (Internal HDD), High Deffenition output (HDMI) socket.
With many boxes on the market, I don't know where to start, could somebody point me in the right direction please.
