I have searched a lot and tried various things and am a bit stuck at the mo... I hope someone can help
.I got the software (euro-vox max 2006 - unified flash loader v.1.0) off ebay for my blue box to update the firmware. I then flashed the box using the download button. I then used Dnupman to upload the evmax_blue_160408_core_14207.bin file to my box and still does not work I go into languages, select emm enable.. i then press 1968 again and make sure i go onto the page listing my cable provider. i then try to get channels (i'm on V"***n / TW croydon area) I did channel delete, factory reset and on the same screen for doing as factory reset i only got two options for the frequencies 6952 and 6887 instead of the usual list of cable providers that you could choose from... I then choose: 6952 Then the next screen is: mode: Normal start: 100Mhz stop: 870Mhz Symbol rate: 6.952 (the other symbol rates belwo it are all zero) Step: 8 I have then tried a normal and full powerscan and both give me about 11 channels (powerscan never worked for me originally - manual scan found always found all the channels) Am i uploading the wrong files/using the wrong software? are there any small changes i need to make manually to the box? any other ideas? What are the actual files i need to update my box with as i am not 100% sure i have the correct firmware/bin files?? |

change from 6.952 to 6.887 and do a power scan hopefully that will pick up more channels for you it will take about 20 mins to complete.
