I was just thinking about asking if you had done the update.

Thank you for the feedback, I have the files and the null modem cable so I will give it a go when the wife and kids are out.

Hi Ken, i know there is not many people around with our boxes so we have got to give as much help to each other as poss. Right my box is updated with the Sunrise Clone Fix CryptStar-v1.4-Core257 and as i have said its updating and is ok for the last 10 days or so. Also i have done another 3 of these and no probs on any of them. You can tell straight away that they update after upgrading them by putting false keys in there and saving them. Then go onto a pay channel and let it update it does it as it should. So many thanks to the master "Sunrise".....What i have found it does not show anything different in the Menu on System Information.....it still shows the original software...Starview Blah Blah Blah....but dont worry about that and also the boxes that i have done there is no need to turn the EMU back on...its already on....hope this helps...let me know how you get on.

PS.....a BIG THANKS to JONpc who has got a rocket powered PC and is always there for any help.....Cheers Jon

i have just down loaded fix switched emu onthen bingo all works but then i mixed keys up but the fix wont sort it out , what have i done wrong, i mixed them up to see of fix had worked,

press menu 1570 set default key exit out go to a $ channel let it update

hi to all, i have a couple of select a view boxes as well as a eurovox and its been interesting reading about select a view boxes.where i live there are quit a lot of people with one or two of them,i can see that the firm ware you are talking about works but i am a bit worried to put it on.The keys hardly change here for some reason,is it worth putting the firmware in,?

hi agian i tried to download the up date for the select a view but i am afraid i do not now what to do. i have downloaded to my eurovox but that was a different type.can you help please.

hi sorry i took so long to reply.the fix is from the tool bar,CRYPTSTAR STARVIEW FIX by SUNRISE,i have downloaded it to my flash stick for now,but dont no what to do there is three parts to it i think any help will be grateful thanks

Hi, you need the loader now GTRom V4.00, open it up load your bin CryptStar-v1.4-Core257 and click on download....let it download, the box will start counting up to 100 when finished the loader will display message "download Complete" and bingo your done...hope this helps...regards

I updated my box with the clone safe fix last night, set the keys to default in the secret menu and went to a pay channel. Updatating Data on the screen it got to 30% and bingo picture came on. As you say no need to switch EMU on and favourites stay as they were.
